Job Title: Junior Varsity Head Coach
Job Type: Contracted
Description: The Northfield boys’ basketball program is looking for a JV Head Coach to lead the junior varsity team and assist varsity team.
Responsibilities and Duties: Practice and game coaching, film breakdown, scouting, helping with youth program
Requirements for Position: Prior playing/coaching experience preferred
Job Description
Knowledge of sport with emphasis on fundamentals
Develop, supervise, and administrate varsity basketball program
Provide instruction, plan and coordinate practices
Job Requirements
Perform all administrative duties regarding the program as assigned by administration and varsity head coach
Maintain knowledge of modern teaching and coaching techniques and follow all state and national association rules
Yearly evaluations of all aspects of basketball program
Job Qualifications
Successful coaching experience at the varsity level preferred but not required
Demonstrate ability to successfully lead and work with administration, student athletes, coaching staff, and community
