With the introduction of Surface devices for this school year, there is going to be a lot of new procedures and instructional opportunities. In this class, the devices will lend themselves to be very useful and cut down on the amount of papers that will be needed. Students will be told on a daily to weekly basis which days they are expected to bring their devices and should be fully prepared (this includes having devices fully charged and any documents accessible and ready to go). Assignments and classwork will be completed on the devices in class. All students are expected to use their devices in an appropriate way and for classwork ONLY. Students found using their devices inappropriately or for things other than Art History will be asked to put away their device and points will be taken off for the classwork they were supposed to be working on for that day.

Occasionally, I like to show films in class that are based on the lives of artists or events in art history. Studentsarenot penalized for not viewing the film. Many times I only show portions of the films. Please feel free tocontactme with any concerns. I have listed some of the filmsbelow.
