NCIGC is supporting the entry at the Golden Gate Kennel Club shows at the Cow Palace in Daly City CA. January 27-28, 2018.

This is one of the few benched shows left in the USA. Our benching area is comfortable and not far from the rings. We would love to see more IG exhibitors at these shows in the future. These shows are closed now.

VENTURA, CALIFORNIA, May 12, 2018

The Italian Greyhound Club of America will be hosting a Regional Specialties back to back

A.M. Judge: John Ramirez , P.M. Judge: Carolyn Hensley on Saturday May 12, 2018. We will have an outside ring at the Ventura County Fairgrounds. Puppy and Veteran Sweepstakes (Morning show only Judge TBA). The WRS’s will be held in conjunction with the Ventura County Dog Fanciers Association. Sunday May 13, 2018 will be inside. Judge: Karen Chant. There is no facility for obedience, rally, racing or agility. (Pending AKC approval).

There are many small beach hotels in area as well as large chain hotels and none give discounts during spring months. There are two Motel 6’s, within 5 miles of fairgrounds. La Quinta and many high-end hotels. A list of hotels/ motels will be provided in the Premium list. There is RV Parking.

Airport (s) within easy access to show site: Los Angeles International, Santa Barbara, Burbank, and Long Beach Airports

We will offer lunch and dinner on the show grounds. Lunch will be ringside and dinner will be held in a parking space next to Karen Gibson’s RV. We will have a catered meal, bbq or picnic theme.

Vallejo CA June 7-10 2018

NCIGC will support the IG entry plus two designated specialties at the woofstock Cluster in Vallejo, CA. This is a big, fun show. Our club will have nice prizes all four days and a potluck on Saturday. Designated Specialty winners from Fri and Sat will be eligible to compete in a “Best of the Best” competition after BIS on Saturday. There is also pizza and salad for everyone before Best of the Best. Entries close May 16, 2018. Thursday and Friday will be NOHS.

IGCA REGIONAL SPECIALTY

MONROE, MICHIGAN, JULY 6, 2018

The IGCA will be hosting two regional specialties, once again, in conjunction with the Maize & Blue Combined Specialties on Friday, July 6, 2017 in Monroe, MI. There will be a morning, regional specialty, followed by lunch, then Sweepstakes (puppy and veteran) and then a second, regional specialty in the afternoon. Pending AKC approvel the Breed judges and Sweepstakes judge for (puppy and veteran) will be announced at the next newsletter. As information becomes available, it will be posted on the various social media platforms and the yahoo groups.

Join us for the41th Annual Houston World Series of Dog Shows, the city’s premier canine extravaganza, heldJuly 18-22, 2018, at NRG Center in Houston, Texas 77054. The Italian Greyhound Club of Greater Houston, Inc. will be having a Designated Specialty Wednesday July 18th 2018. Breed Judge: TBA. Sweepstakes Judge: TBA. Evening event at the Shanghai River restaurant at 6 PM, followed by a banquet and silent auction beginning at 6:30. Specialty is hosted by the Houston Combined Specialty Association Inc. There will be Obedience, Agility, Barn Hunt, Fly Ball and performance events and exhibitions, relay races and conformation judging, plus seminars, displays and shopping.
