* Call to Worship
One: Living God, in Jesus Christ, who stands among us, we have seen the marks
of your saving love.
Many: Breathe on us with the power of your Spirit and send us out to share the
peace of Christ so that all the world may believe in him and receive the gift
of everlasting life.
All: Through Jesus Christ, our Lord and our God.
Prayer of Confession
Gracious God, we call to you and name you as eternal, ever-present, and boundless in love. Yet there are times when we fail to recognize your presence in our lives. Sometimes shame clenches tightly around our hearts, and we hide our true feelings. Sometimes fear makes us small, and we miss the chance to speak from our strength. Sometimes doubt invades our hopefulness, and we degrade our own wisdom. God, in the daily round from sunrise to sunset, remind us again of your loving presence hovering near us and in us. Free us from shame and self-doubt. Help us to see you in the moment-by-moment possibilities to live honestly, to act courageously, and to speak from our wisdom. Amen.
God’s Good News
One: God’s love is amazing, God’s grace is abundant. God’s mercy knows no
bounds.
Many: In the name of Jesus Christ, we are forgiven.
Announcements
Welcome to our Visitors

Many: And also with you!

Response #26, SOZ “Jesus Loves the Little Children”
Invitation to the Offering
God has led us to this place to heal and inspire us, to gently redirect us, until we see the world as God does and love it with God’s love. With our gifts, we affirm that God’s generosity can make us all into a new creation by the way we give of ourselves.
Offertory “Total Praise” - Richard Smallwood The Celestial Choir
*Doxology #592, Hymnal "Praise God from Whom All Blessings Flow"
*Prayer of Dedication
On my own what I have to give does not amount to much in the light of all You have given to me and in the face of so much need. Put together as a congregation, what we offer You here in love becomes more, not simply added together, but somehow multiplied in its usefulness. We ask You to bless our gifts and with the addition of Your blessing, just as it was with the loaves and the fishes, there is enough for all.
Anthem “He that Overcometh” - George W. Maize, IV The Celestial Choir
Prayer for Illumination
Gracious God, open my ears so that I may hear the wisdom in Your word. Open my eyes so that I may see the wonders you have placed before me. Help me obey. In the name of Jesus Christ. Amen.
