Itinerary

Thursday, May 22, 2008 - Seattle

Upon your arrival at the airport, we will commence our flight to Seattle. On arrival in Seattle, we will catch the hotel shuttle to our overnight accommodations and meet in the lobby for a briefing on the next day. You will then havethe evening at leisure to explore the wonderful city of Seattle on your own.

Friday, May 23, 2008 - Seattle

We will meet in the lobby of the hotel to begin our group tour of the Seattle area. Following an overview of the city, we will meet as a group for dinner to discuss the day’s affairs and those of tomorrow, when we launch for Alaska.

Saturday, May 24, 2008 - Embarkation

We will transfer back to the airport to then catch our cruise line transfer and board the Holland America Lines M.S. Oosterdam. After boarding, take advantage of your time to unpack your things in your stateroom for the next week, and walk about the ship to get your bearings. Enjoy some light fare in the buffet area, or just relax and watch the scenery go by as you sail the scenic waters of Puget Sound.

Sunday, May 25, 2008 – Scenic Cruising

Take advantage of a full day aboard the ship to lounge, shop, or take part in the multitude of activities aboard the M.S. Oosterdam.

Monday, May 26, 2008 - Juneau

As we continue our cruise north, take time to marvel at the sights of Stephens Passage and the Juneau area. This will be your first opportunity to set foot on Alaskan soil and experience the city of Juneau, Alaska. Explore independently, or take part in a cruise arranged shore excursion*.

Tuesday, May 27, 2008–Hubbard Glacier

Glacier off the starboard bow! These are the things postcards are made of. Man the rails as the magnificent M.S. Oosterdam sails alongside some of the largest glaciers in the world.

Wednesday, May 28, 2008 - Sitka

As we continue our journey, Sitka comes into view as our next port of call. Step back in time and experience Alaska of old. Take in Historic Russian Alaska*, or take a cruise to Silver bay aboard a nature cruise*, or for the more adventurous, try sea kayaking*.

Thursday, May 29, 2008 - Ketchikan

Ketchikan is a city of native Intuits and indescribable scenery. Take an adventure flight-seeing*, or explore the shops independently.

Friday, May 30, 2008 – Victoria, B.C.

As we head south for our final port of call, Victoria British Columbia will afford another opportunity to live inside a photograph for another day. Take in the Butchart gardens*, or experience the city by horse-drawn carriage*;whatever your preference, Victoria will prove to be a memorable stop on this cruise itinerary.

Saturday, May 31, 2008 – Homeward Bound

The time has now come to travel back towards the lower-48. After a quick once over of your stateroom and departure preparations, eat breakfast at your leisure and await disembarkation. Following this, we will transfer back to the airport for our flight home, ready to tell our friends and loved ones about our Alaskan adventure to the Great Country.
