Responsible for the team checkbook, collecting money, and paying bills.

Food Coordinator: Shelley Miller

Responsible for organizing a food/drink table at the meets. Swimmers can either donate $20 for the season or bring designated food/drink items to the meet. The food table is intended to provide swimmers with healthy snacks and drinks during the meets. Swimmers are still responsible for paying for their own meals if the meet runs through dinner time.

Timers: Parents, friends, family members…

We can’t run a meet without timers, so please volunteer at the meets.

Practice Information

The NFHS Swim Team is fortunate to coordinate training efforts with the Lanier Aquatics competitive swim program located at Brenau University. Jim has extensive experience coaching swimmers. Gold Team:

The Gold training group is for swimmers that wish to train for the high school season. Basic technique and conditioning is offered to swimmers from all area schools.

Cost: $75/month of training

$50 one time registration fee with USA Swimming for the high school season

(Swimmers will be billed at the beginning of each month through Lanier Aquatics.)

Transportation:

Swimmers are responsible for providing their own transportation and may want to arrange car pools with other families.

Practice Schedule:

Mon, Tues, Wed, Thurs 7:30-8:30 pm

Swimmers can begin practicing October 2.

Cost:

Required items:

·  Transportation to all meets - $50

·  Team Suit (estimate) - $50 (women) and $40 (men)

·  Team cap – 1 cap provided by the school (additional or replacement caps - $3.00 each)

Optional items:

·  Practice suit – price varies

·  Practice cap – price varies (usually about $3)

·  Goggles – (strongly recommended) price varies (usually about $10)

·  Warm-ups - $75 (estimate)
