2012 Homecoming Dance

The following conditions and regulations apply to the 2012 Jefferson Township High School Homecoming Dance:
1. Consumption of drugs/alcoholic beverages will not be permitted.
a. Students who arrive at the Homecoming Dance under the influence of alcohol/drugs will not be admitted.*
b. Students who are found to be under the influence of alcohol/drugs during the course of the evening will be held accountable to all policies and procedures pertaining to the District’s Substance Abuse Policy.*
2. Once you leave the Homecoming Dance, you may not return. Smoking is prohibited.
3. Students who are disruptive or who demonstrate inappropriate behavior will be directed to leave. Parents will be responsible for transportation home.
4. Students who are disciplined at the Homecoming Dance will also be subject to administrative discipline.
5. Students will be held accountable for the behavior of their invited guests.
6. Students will not be allowed to enter the Homecoming Dance after 7:00 p.m.
7. Students must be in attendance for a minimum of three (3) hours on the day of an activity (Friday for a Saturday event).
a. Pre-excused absences or special circumstances may be approved by the principal or designee.
b. Students who are suspended may not participate in or attend school-sponsored athletic.
*It will be necessary to contact the parents of any student under the influence of alcohol/drugs, as well as, notification to police in order to ensure safe transportation home.
