a)Board approved to fund the coaches training again this year.

Equipment needs for season

a)Needs some replacing: Helmets, 2 bats, re-wraps, drags

b)Tabling the thought of purchasing cinch-style bags for catcher’s mitt to prevent sand from drying them out.

Spring Tournament discussions

a.)Advertising fundraising tournament booklet

1)The board would like to move forward with it.

b.)Letter to business owners requesting ads When to send

1)Board approved letter and Paul to send out.

c.)8 teams at each level would be optimum. 6 teams would be ok. 4 teams would be minimum. At time of meeting, we had 2 neighboring cities registered (Forest Lake and Chisago City) at the 10U level and none at the 11U level. Since our own 11U team was moved from AAA to AA this season, we more teams may sign up closer to the cut-off date.

Flower fundraiser Update

a)Turn in is scheduled for tomorrow, 3/21 from 6-7pm in the Deli area of County Market

Storage Space

a)Space is needed to store equipment year round. Among the various places locally, Jimmy’s Johnny’s offers portable pods that are weather proof. There is a monthly cost of $75 per month.

b)Metal shelving would be good to keep bags and other items off of the floor.
