NON-INSTRUCTIONAL APPOINTMENTS

On the recommendation of the District Superintendent, the Board approves the following Appointments:

Christine Klein be appointed to the position of Special Education Senior Typist-Confidential (12-month) in the Civil Service probationary period of six months commencing September 8, 2008 and terminating March 6, 2009; salary to be $30,000 (pro-rated). Position vacated by Jane Neufeld. Returning employee.

Margaret Patti be appointed to the position of Adult Education Teacher (P/T) effective August 18, 2008; salary to be $24.75/hour for the 2008-2009 school year. Pursuant to Chapter 147 of the Laws of 2001, this is declared as an Emergency Conditional Appointment.

Pamela Pugliese be appointed to the position of Teaching Assistant - P/T effective July 10, 2008; salary to be $50.00/hour for approximately 10-20 days for the 2008-2009 school year. No contact with students.

Valentine Mihic be appointed to the position of Teacher on Assignment –Staff Development Consultant (P/T) effective August 13, 2008 through June 30, 2009; salary to be $1,000.00 for approximately 5-10 days for the 2008-2009 school year. No contact with students.

Denise Alterio be appointed to the position of Teacher on Assignment –Staff Development Consultant (P/T) effective August 13, 2008 through June 30, 2009; salary to be $500.00 for approximately 3 days/week for the 2008-2009 school year. No contact with students.

Dolores Baker be appointed to the position of Special Education Teacher (PM Program) (part-time) effective September 8, 2008 through June 26, 2009; salary to be per diem hourly in the amount of $35.20 for the 2008-2009 School year. Returning employee.

Debra Charlton be appointed to the position of Special Education Teacher (PM Program) (part-time) effective September 8, 2008 through June 26, 2009; salary to be per diem hourly in the amount of $45.13 for the 2008-2009 School year. Returning employee.
