Community Leadership Award
Nomination Information
Leadership Saskatoon invites nominations from our community for the Community Leadership Award. Please review the information below carefully before completing and submitting a nomination form.
Selection Criteria for the Award
· Lives in Saskatoon and area.
· Has achieved distinction as a community leader.
· Has displayed values in alignment with Leadership Saskatoon's core values, including citizen engagement, collaboration, inclusion/diversity and lifelong learning.
· Has made a contribution of significance that has reflected positively on the community of Saskatoon.
Any individual may only receive the Community Leadership Award once.
Nominator
· Must be a citizen of Saskatoon or area.
· Must include two letters of support from individuals and/or community organizations.
· Are responsible for explaining, based on the award criteria, and in no more than 750 words why their nominee should be chosen to receive the Leadership Saskatoon Community Leadership Award.
· Must submit at least 1 copy of the nomination to Leadership Saskatoon in care of the Chair of the Selection Committee.
Nominations
· Must be submitted to Leadership Saskatoon by April 1st.
· Will be kept on file and may be considered for selection in subsequent years.
Award Selection
· The Selection Committee will be appointed by the Leadership Saskatoon Board of Directors.
· The Selection Committee will receive all nomination materials.
· Selection Committee members will rank each nominee using criteria developed by Leadership Saskatoon.
· The Selection Committee may consider nominations received in prior years.
· The recipient will be advised by April 10th.
· An announcement identifying the recipient will be made at the SABEX Finalist Announcement in April.
· The award will be presented at the SABEX awards gala on May 15th. The recipient will receive a unique award at the event and will attend as a guest of Leadership Saskatoon.
