There will be a $40.00 per day fee to reserve Leonard and Yates pavilions; $50.00 per day fee to reserve Blue Bell Pavilion. A form available at the SylacaugaParks and Recreation Office must be filled out and the fee paid before the reservation is valid. Reservations cannot be made more the one (1) year in advance. Reservations are on a first come (first paid), first serve basis. For events that are open to the public and/or pavilion is reserved by a private company, a $200 deposit is required.

Rental is for the pavilion only. All parks are open to the general public.

If you are renting the pavilion for any special event and air toys, carnival set-up, etc. are planned to be used, we must be informed at the time of renting. We have a process for these types of events and uses that must be followed. 1.) The name and proof of license of the company/person you are renting from. 2.) Their insurance company name and proof of insurance. 3. After these have been made available, we will verify with the insurance company. You will then be notified if you may use this company/person. You may also request a ONE DAY RIDERfrom your homeowner’s insurance company to cover you for the location the air toys are to be used. Once either of these processes is fulfilled, you may have permission to use the air toys.

A restroom key should be picked up the day before (or that morning). ForSaturday or Sunday reservations, you will need to pick up the key on Friday, by 4:30 p.m. The key is to be returned the day after the reservation. For weekend reservations, it is to be returned on Monday. The key will be at the reception desk at the Parks and Recreation Office. There is a $20.00 (cash and refundable) deposit for the restroom key. The switch for the electricity for Beth Yates is located in the men’s restroom. The power outlets for Noble and Blue Bell Pavilions are under the pavilion on one of the columns.

All pavilions and facilities are available for anyone to use on a first serve basis AT NO CHARGE. A fee is paid when you need to RESERVE a pavilion so that you can plan a special event.

Inclement weather is out of our control. Cancellations for a refund must be made a least one week in advance. We will work with you to reschedule your event. Weekend events can be rescheduled up until Friday @ 4:30 p.m. Rescheduling for any reason (including weather) cannot be done after 4:30 p.m. Friday or after event date (Monday-Friday).

All facilities of the SylacaugaParks and Recreation Department are open to entry and use by all persons regardless of race, color, national origin, religion, sex or disability.

The SylacaugaParks and Recreation Board has a policy against allowing alcoholic beverages in any of our facilities. There shall be no alcohol allowed in any park, building, pool, field, complex, or any other facility operated by the Sylacauga Parks and Recreation Department.

Misuse and abuse to pavilions will not be tolerated. If damage occurs or if excessive clean-up is necessary, then the renter will be billed for these expenses. These facilities are for you; please help us to keep them clean.*The SylacaugaParks and Recreation Department reserves the right to cancel any reservation, at any time, at our discretion. A full refund for the reservation will be issued should a cancellation by the SylacaugaParks and Recreation Department deem necessary. The SylacaugaParks and Recreation Department is not responsible for any advertising that may

have been paid by the renter to advertise for their reservation event.*
