NOAH in the U.S. today

In the present,

the Lord gave rebirth untoNoah and placed him in America.

The Lordsaid:
"Once again, the earth has become over populated with evil tyrants.

Thesecrueland wicked bullies have taken advantage of

my loving peaceful children and have exploited the world I created.

Build another ark and save 2 of every living thing including

a number of God loving people I have chosen."
He gave Noah the plans, and said:
"You have 6 months to build the ark before I will
start the unending rain for 40 days and 40nights."

Six months later, the Lord looked down and saw Noah
weeping in his yard. There was no ark.
"Noah!," He roared, "I'm about to start the rain!
Where is the ark?"
"Forgive me, Lord," begged Noah, "but things have changed

in the modern world."

"Town officials wouldn't let me start without a building permit."

"I've been arguing withthe inspector
about the need for a sprinkler system."

"My neighbors claim that I've violated the
neighborhood by-laws by building the structure in my back yard.

They claimI've exceeded size and height limitations.

We had to go to the local Planning Committee forvariances."

"Then the local Council, the power company and other utilities

demandedmoney for thecosts of moving power
lines and other overhead obstructions, to clear the
passage for the ark's move to the sea. I told them
that the sea would be coming to us, but they would
hear none of it."

"Getting the wood was another problem. There's a ban
on cutting local trees to prevent deforestation and

to save the Greater Spotted Barn Owl."
"I tried to convince the environmentalists that I
needed the wood to save the owls - but they said no!"

"When I started gathering the animals the ASPCA took me to court.

They insisted that I was
confining wild animals against their will.

They argued the accommodations were too restrictive and
PETA said it was cruel and inhumane to put so many animals

in a confined space."

"Then the Environmental Protection Agency

ruled that I couldn't build the ark until they conducted

an environmental impact study
on your proposed flood."

"I'm still trying to resolve a complaint with the
Human Rights Commission on how many minorities I'm
supposed to hire for my building crew."

"The Immigration Dept. is checking the
visa status of most of the people who want to work."

"The trade unions and inspectors say I can't use my sons and family members.

They insist I have to hire only Union workers or skilled artisans

with ark-building experience."

"To make matters worse, the World Wildlife Organization isclaiming

thatI'm trying to leave the country illegally with endangered species."

"So, forgive me, Lord, but I need more time to complete theark."

"Suddenly the skies cleared, the sun began to shine,
and a rainbow stretched across the sky."

Noah looked up in wonder and asked,

"You mean you're not going to destroy us.

No, said the Lord.

"You humans in the United States of America

have managed to conquer great hurdles.

You now care about all God's creatures including the Great Spotted Barn owl.

You obviously understand the importance of saving plants and trees.

You have learned to care for each other and

you've united to create safety standards to protect all workers.

You humans have created a system of permits, planning and inspections because

you've learned that everyone's opinion and their rights matter.

I placed humans on this world tobe caretakers of all livingcreatures.

Most of you have learned to care for your planet earth and

realize it's the only home you have.

So I'm not going to destroy you.

On the contrary, I'm going to help you and light the way.

Keep caring for each other.

Pray and I will provide you with anunderstanding of another's point of view.

Be kind to each other.

Be mindful of everyone else's needs including

those of my plants, animals and every other living thing I've created.

It will not be easy

but YOU CAN DO IT.

Keep up the good work.

I believe in YOU!"
