Preschool 1 Group Reward Initiative

We have introduced a group reward scheme into Pre School 1.

The reward scheme has been prepared considering the learning outcomes of The Early Years Foundation Stage Framework and alongside the golden rules of promoting positive behaviour is being used to encourage the group to help each other and learn reasoning.

Whenever a positive behaviour is identified the group will be awarded a green dragon (the children love dragons and knights at present).

If as a group three green dragons are collected in the morning or the afternoon, the group get a reward that is chosen by the children such as “a trip to Jump”, “a special parachute game” or “a disco in the party room”

If you would like further information on how this chart is used please do not hesitate to ask.

Sun Cream And Sun Hats

Could we remind all parents and carers to provide sun cream and sun hats now that the weather is getting warmer, this will enable us to access the garden more.

Nursery Clothes

Could I remind all parents that have borrowed nursery clothes to return them to Caerleon as we are currently running really low on trousers and underwear.

Clothes

Please can we remind parents to label clothes that children bring to nursery with them. It is a lot easier for staff to locate misplaced clothes this way.

Recommendations

We feel it is very beneficial to prospective parents to see what our current parents really think about Caerleon Child Care and would like to thank all of the parents and carers that have taken the time to write a review for us on the internet.

If you have not yet written a recommendation and would like to do so, you can use the websites listed below:
