Crime

There have been 32 reported crimes across the Wolds Ward for June, 18 of which have occurred in Laceby.

At 2.15am on 14th June two offenders attempted to break in to Robson News on Caistor Drive, Laceby. On seeing a CCTV camera they cause damage to this. No entry was gained. At 3.40am, a burglary occurred at the premises Once Upon A Time on Cemetery Road. The offenders entered the premises through a sash window, stealing a small amount of cash. Sometime on 11th June, a shed in the rear garden of a property on Grimsby Road Laceby was entered. A GT mountain bike and a quantity of motocross style shirts were stolen.

Overnight of 14th & 15th June, a van parked on a carpark on Caistor Road was broken into. A Stihl saw was stolen.

Of the three criminal damages reported, damage has been caused to play equipment on the park. A vehicle parked on High Street, Laceby had both wing mirrors ripped off overnight 15th & 16th June.

Of the remaining crimes, eight have been reported at Morrison’s.

There has been one report of ASB, on 30th June, a motorcycle was being ridden on lanes at Cottagers Plot.

Other Police News

Lifestyle 2015 is now being promoted in the local schools. It is open for youngsters aged between 10 and 18 years who live or go to school in the Humberside Police area. Once the team of between two and five people have registered, they can begin work on their chosen project. Work carried out will be logged in a work book provided, which will then be judged. There are many prizes, including trips to theme parks, a performance car track day, Wales, France, and the top prize of a trip to South Africa! All encouragement should be given to any teams working on their projects.
