Admiral’s speech

The Cylon war is not over. Yet we must not forget the reasons why so many sacrificed so much in the cause of freedom. The cost of wearing the uniform can be high. Sometimes too high. When we fight the Cylon’s we do it to save ourselves from extinction. But we never answered the question of Why? A young commander once asks me, “Why are we as a people worth saving?” I couldn’t answer him then, I can’t answer him now. As a people we still commit murder because of greed, spite, jealousy...Lord Admiral JAE once told me that you can’t outrun your sins and as a species we refuse to accept responsibility for anything…like we did with the Cylon's. We play god. Created life...When that life turned against us...we comforted ourselves in the knowledge that it really wasn't our fault. It was our fault… You cannot play god then wash your hands of the things that you've created. Sooner or later, the day comes when you can't hide, from the things that you've done, anymore

<TOP SEACRET!!>

There will be a number of faction switches penned in though out the year. These switches are set to go ahead every quarter. No other news on this topic has been found.

By UF senates source.

UFF CODE OF CONDUCT.

1. Treat all Wing members with courtesy and respect. No exceptions.

2. No offensive comments or suggestive language will be tolerated.

3. Because players do like some banter, please limit obscenities as to not offend some members.

4. Zero tolerance.. If you cheat at this game you are attempting to kill it there for you are subject to immediate dishonourable dismissal from the wing. Command may take decisive action as it sees fit. No lawyer talk will be able help you if statistical data diverts towards astronomical probability.

5. No in wing fighting or arguing will be tolerated (duals are fine as a training tool).

6. DO NOT ask other members for personal information such as telephone/cell numbers and physical addresses. There is an inbox on the website to each member, and members are encouraged to communicate through that medium and via in-game chat.

7. Bring all grievances to a Senior War Cabinet member. A course of action will be determined by the Cabinet.

8. During "UFF Mission's" all system and comm chatter must stop. Pay attention to orders. Commands will be called out by Senior Officers and or Senior Wing members; players in those commands will echo each order and comply. Wing chat must be free for this.

9. Do not question a senior’s orders once issued without good reason. You may have a great idea about how to do something or may disagree with a particular maneuver or tactic, but be sure to converse with Command prior to the "go go" order. We want everyone to have a say in what we do as a group, but follow the Chain of Command, and issue disagreement with courtesy and respect.

CODE OF CONDUCT Continued

10. Say "hi" to your wing when you get online even if you’re on daily’s, make sure to check in with other Wing mates who may be online, a shout out always goes far!

11. Cling to your Wing! Again, team ties are important. All of us hook up with other players from time-to-time for Fleet combat, mutual aid, or just for fun. However, if a Wing mate (or two, or three) comes online and wants to join you, make room for them, or consider separating to join them. If you are doing something specific, politely decline and explain the situation. Since we all do it, we will understand. DO NOT simply ignore a Wing mate

12. Times and dates for group flight and Wing tactical/combat and/or logistical missions will be issued via the website. Please check the website periodically.

13. All Wing members Level 20+ must purchase at least one (1) FTL transponder cell each week. These cost 300 Cubits. Completion of a single mission during Daily Assignments is usually sufficient to procure a single cell. Players must possess an FTL transponder cell in order to initiate group FTL combat jumps. This is explained to you in the document pages on the website.

14. Stay with the Wing/wingman! During group missions, unless instructed to do so, DO NOT leave the confines of a 3k diameter (above, below, and on-plane). Don't simply tear after something 'red' because it jumps into the system. Unless you are under immediate threat, wait for the gogo call to attack. Remember, the Cylons love to send in recon: if you go after an enemy player, you may soon find yourself being surrounded by a larger fleet!

15. When ya gotta go, ya gotta go! However, if you're going to step out for a moment or it's time for you to hit the rack, give a shout; make sure you alert your Wing mates.

CODE OF CONDUCT Continued

16. Again, all Wing members MUST remain active in-game and/or on the Wing website. If you are inactive without communication for more than six (6) weeks you will be dismissed and removed from Wing rosters. Command may extend or shorten this period based on individual circumstances.

17. All players must obey the Code of Conduct and Gaming Ethics set forth by the Wing.

18. DO NOT post anything in the BSGO Forums or on System/Fleet chat that is contrary to or in violation of Wing. If there are problems or grievances with the games players, please discuss them with the Wing.

19. All Wing members should take on the mantra: "Live together, die alone" This simple saying is telling you that to fly alone and your dead in a wing you live. Be courageous in combat and in all you do. Act with honour and treat others with respect. Be committed to your Wing, your Wing mates, and your Fleet!

20. All new members must be told to join the website by the officer that enrolled him and they should also be directed to this page/document.

Best of Regards....

Mining Report 30/03/2013

While the time has not been confirmed, I am happy to report a very profitable and successful night for myself (Lord Admiral Victory) and fellow wing members. The evening started well and fast in hatir. I was just roaming around scanning the roids when I came across a large 60k water mine. I called said water mine and was shortly joined by Raiden and together we obtained another mine. This time it was a bonus titanium mine containing around 55k. We had an easy 5 minutes before we were then joined by Jonny Larson, Averlion, starrunner, Cosmiles, jabbabinx and akoluth.

In the beginning stages of the group we split in to 2 sections of a squad. Myself (Vic), Cosmiles, Jabbabinx and akoluth defended the mines from npc’s and some cylon players. We were very quickly attacked by a small strong force of cylons looking to get a few DEO’s. The squad made short work of mallon, klospuelung in there litches while I attaked the 2 ninhogs bangerschilitz and flowerpower before the rest of the squad came to aid in there total destruction. We then had a small breathing space which we used to mine a few roids and platforms in the system.

Then came a second load of tin heads to enter the system which beta squad (Averlion, raiden and JL) dispatched without a problem earning them self’s some good solid kills…mattzylonicus and peste in litches and another unknown ship. When the 3rd squad of crap came calling it was all too easy for me to give the order for beta squad to take them out. Jonny L started it all off attacking death hun in his fenrir before the rest of beta squad caught up and …boom no more death hun. They then moved on to nikol26 in his hel and swiftly dispatched his tin hide before finishing off yet another scalp which we do not have the name or ship class.

Things were not that quite by the mines ether at this time with countless spawning npc’s trying to destroy our mining operations. Alfa team (Vic,Cos,Jabba and akoluth)made sure that the enemy was kept under control. At around this time Notalkingnow joined up with us and immediately was involved in the fighting, finding 2 cheeky cylon scum flying high over the clonal spawn point. He engaged and reported that both targets were killed. Geordiebazz in a banshee and goldraggon in his litch.

Mining Report 30/03/2013 Continued

By now we almost finished our mining operations, but it did leave us enough time to rake up some more npc and platform kills along with some drones. Our total number of confirmed kills are as followed::

jormung..14

A UFF CARRIER CLASS SHIP!

Commodore Pupser300 has now Left our ranks and joined anther wing after a member of our wing donated the funds for him to gain that ship. While we wish him well in all his future endeavours, we do ask wing members to bear in mind that he no longer fly’s under our colures and we do not need to jump to his aid.

Official Senate Approved Ships

United Federation Senate has asked for a list for fully commissioned ships with in our fleet. Over the past few months we have been able to compile and publish a document regarding this topic. Please keep up the good work and always check this document (in the document section) for updates on UFF named ships. Below is a link for the said page.

Just Another Day In Paradise 02/04/2013

Having logged on at approximately 8pm GMT, I formed a squad with wing members Raiden, Volatile, DrDom and Jabba. We jumped to Raastaban where 8 high level Fenirs of the Hun Siege wing had laid claim to a large water mine next to the colonial spawn point. All UFF ships proceeded to climb high above and we watched the cylon ships waiting for an opportunity when their numbers would mean nothing. Then just as we were about to call the wait to an end, a colonial liner jumped in and 3 of the cylon liners, lead by Death Hun, moved towards the colonial line. This was a chance we took! UFF ships moved in to attack the advancing liners and claimed the kills of Death Hun and Jason776. The engagement resulted in the loss of myself (jonny larsson) and DrDom. When we re-entered the system a number of colonial re-enforcements had arrived and the Hun Siege water party was sent packing back to red space.

The UFF squad proceeded to join an OP bash in Vidofnir. We arrived among a good size colonial fleet and proceeded to attack the defending cylons while the rest of the fleet destroyed the outpost and the hold on the system. During the successful bash UFF members accounted for the kill of a war raider and Mordor, a level 97 Nidhogg. I myself (JL) accounted for the destruction of Iceforceman, a level 66 Fenir.

The Op bash then jumped to Nilfhel where we seemed to lose some members from the fleet. (No doubt they found mines in the last system). We then again took it upon ourselves to target the defending cylons and help create a free flowing path for the rest of the fleet. UFF forces accounted for the kills of 2 fenirs and a banshee. As we prepared to jump I was attacked by Nerka, a level 83 fenir from the skynet wing. I engaged the fenir and was joined by UFF vipers as we destroyed Nerka for our 9th cylon player in a matter of 15 minutes.

UFF squad proceeded to jump to Huggin to take part in an outpost defence. Once in Huggin the squad was joined by Averlion and Kromdor which added much needed attacking power. The Cylon fleet failed to attack our outpost. This may be due to the size of the defending fleet? Who knows? So the cylon fleet retreated from Huggin and our squad followed them to Geirrod.

Just Another Day In Paradise 02/04/2013 Continued.

We arrived in Geirrod and immediately began the counter attack on the incoming cylon forces. “They seemed to smash our hulls like water on rock” they were soon defeated! While in Geirrod our squad accounted for the kill of a level 67 Liche, Willenlob. At this point the squad was joined by HMS Victory and the squad disbanded for Line School.

Field report by Jonny Larsson.

UFF Line School 2/4/2013

The line school started like many others events. Slow and once we got together we started out duelling each other one on one in a defence V’s attack mode. The point I was trying to make, and hopefully got through, to them is that for some reason a defending line gets a sort of bonus for a second or two. Most thought I was talking outa my frecking lord admiral ass, but to their surprise I wasn’t. In fact it’s a well-documented case that a defending line (if the same level as the attacking line) will always win the fight. Why? We don’t know. Maybe is a code error the developers don’t feel they need to change, or maybe they wanted it that way in the first place? Who really knows?
