Jon's Introduction to Social Networking

·  Jon's needs Appendix & Glossary

·  Peter will ask Jon to send Jen list of other companies to include in appendix

·  Jen will provide list of Associate Member companies

·  Dorothy thought maybe dumb vs. smart marketing - some people may object. Some people may not be cutting out placements, banner ads. All agreed OK to leave in.

·  Appendix - companies such as In-Style Marketing, Topspin, ReverbNation, Audiolife who enable marketing on social networks but aren't actual social networks should be included.

·  We could have the white paper live on the new website and then have a running tally on the website to keep updating it as things change.

·  Skip international social networks in appendix.

Dorothy's MySpace Music How To

·  Options or links to enable more on your profile.

·  Screen shots would be great to add. Selection of members to have screen shots of their analytics - dashboard as illustrations from a label that has a good presence on MySpace.

·  Cat volunteered to have some from her labels donate screen shots for the white paper.

·  MySpace Music - recommended usages, Jen will run it by Sarah & Courtney once Dorothy sends a final version for them to review. Dorothy will also send specific questions for Jen to run by them.

·  White paper will be sent to membership around March 1st so they will have time to review before Tech Day at SXSW.

Tim's Facebook How To

·  Dorothy started on the Analytics for Facebook - already 7 pages. She will revise to pass to Tim to finish

·  We would like to send this white paper out to membership early April.

·  We will mention in email blasts promoting SXSW event and MySpace white paper that they should look out for this white paper in early April on our website (as traffic driver)

Future White Papers

·  Twitter & micro-blogging to still be covered

·  YouTube & video sites to still be covered

·  Metrics/analytics to still be covered

·  Tech Day to be scheduled - possibly in May at NARM and/or June at Annual Meeting to review these topics & white papers
