The New Kent Girls Softball League operates out of Hawkins Field within the Woodhaven Shore Subdivision of New Kent County. We are a private organization, and receive no funding from New Kent County Parks and Recreation. The goal of our League is not only to introduce and improve players’ softball skills, but also their sportsmanship, discipline, and self esteem. New Kent Girls Softball League is partnered with the Old Dominion Softball League and is an Affiliated Group of New Kent Parks & Recreation. This venture has allowed our girls to compete against some of the best softball players in the State as well as allowed them to play in venues that they might not normally have had the opportunity to play. In its 20 plus years of operation, the League has grown from a handful of girls to over 120 players, which range in age from 4-16
We are now looking for sponsors for the spring 2015 season. While there are many organizations deserving of your generosity your consideration in making a tax deductible sponsorship is sincerely appreciated. If you are unable to contribute in this manner, but would like to make a donation to our League, please donate any amount you are able.
Attached you will find a copy of our sponsorship form with four ways that your sponsorship will help in the 2015 Spring Season.
