New Jersey Natural Gas Makes Contributions to

NJ SHARES’ Energy Assistance Program

Ewing, NJ – Recently, New Jersey Natural Gas (NJNG) presented a generous $15,000 donation to New Jersey SHARES (NJ SHARES) to assist in their statewide Energy Assistance Program.

“In recognition of its 15 years of service, New Jersey Natural Gas is proud to support and contribute to NJ SHARES’ mission of helping neighbors in need,” said Mr. Laurence Downes, Chairman of the Board and Chief Executive Officer of New Jersey Resources. “No one should have to choose between heating their home and putting food on the table, but for too many families that is a reality they are faced with every day. As a critical part of New Jersey’s energy safety net, NJ SHARES helps to ease the burden for those facing difficult times and make a difference where it is needed most. New Jersey Natural Gas shares that same commitment.”

“As we celebrate our 15th Anniversary, NJ SHARES would like to thank New Jersey Natural Gas for their generous donation and support of our mission to help our neighbors in need,” said Jim Jacob, President and CEO of NJ SHARES. “Their valued partnership and continued support help New Jersey families in need by ensuring the necessary funds are always available to help qualifying households stay safe and warm in their homes during these colder winter months.”
