New Forest pony breeders, riders and enthusiast’s world wide now have their own web community called www.nf-worldwide.com. The web portal was announced in March 2007. It is an international web portal which gathers information from the whole world regarding the New Forest ponies.
The aim with this portal is to provide an easy access to information, breeding rules, performance results, stallion passing, elections e.g. from each country and to improve the knowledge of the New Forest pony world wide.
The portal will be developed to have a lot of breeders, riders, juniors and in main NF enthusiasts as members. It is free to sign up. As a member you can participate in different competitions and drawings for prizes and get access to all the information which is gathered at the portal. You can also find history of the New Forest breed, NFWW forum where you can ask and discuss fields of interest. The members can also ad their own pictures to the NFWW Gallery. Each country will have a national editor, who will provide the portal with news.
The www.nf-worldwide.com has been created by two Danish girls, who both have many years of experience in the Danish New Forest Association board. They have participated in International meetings and became very interested in the international cooperation among the New Forest associations in the world. They decided to leave the board in Denmark to devote their time to this portal and to improve the acquaintance of the New Forest breed world wide.
It is the hope, that the portal will make the world even smaller for people in love with the New Forest ponies and also bring the New Forest associations even closer than they already have become the last couple of years.
