CUE TIP OF THE WEEK – SPORTSMANSHIP RATING

Your scoresheet has a number scale of 1-5 where you can rate the opposing team on sportsmanship. Were they super great, wonderful, fun, and fantastic? Give them a 5! Were they... not so stellar? Give them a 1 (but provide a note explaining why they deserve such a low rating). If you forget to fill this out, then your team could lose bonus points. On the 8-ball sheet the scale is located above the team match block. On the 9-ball sheet it is located on the front of the sheet next to the chart explaining how to score a match.

SCOREKEEPING CLINICS – EARN EXTRA POINTS BY ATTENDING!

  • Tuesday Arden AND Masters: 6:00pm March 31 at Fat Cat's Billiards
  • Aloha Thursdays: 6:15pm April 2 at Buffalo Nickel
  • Friday Doubles: 11:30am April 3 at Fat Cat's Billiards
  • Saturday Asheville: 12:15pm April 28th at The Social

Teams will receive extra points for scorekeeping clinics once all of the clinics have been completed. This is a change from last session, when we posted the extra points at the end of the session. Posting them sooner will allow team standings to be more transparent and easier to track as we get closer to the playoff season.

SINGLES BOARDS – THIS SATURDAY!

This Saturday at 3:00 Thomas Burrell will be running TWO 8-ball singles boards. One board for skill levels 4 and below. The second board for skill levels 5 and above. Remember – you must be active on a roster and have at least 10 matches played in order to be eligible for a singles board.

THIS WEEK’S BOUNTY HUNT:

Sam Miller from “2nd Amendment” – there’s a bounty on your head this week. Play and win your match this Saturday and your match is free! If his opponent (the bounty hunter) wins, then the bounty hunter plays for free!
