THE OLDEST MOST SUCCESSFUL LEGAL GROUP IN THE WORLD regrets the closing of our friends “HALT”, but advises the Judiciary that we will continue to expose the cronyism, partisanship and outright ineptness in the system.
As a result of our efforts here on Long Island, we have seen the mighty fall, i.e. Dominick Barbara banished from the profession, Chaz Cancellare, Esq. reduced to spreading salt on the highway when it snows and Suffolk Supreme Chief of Matrimonial, Judge Marian McNulty fired. Sooner or later, their ill ways catch up with them.
Recently, in an effort to bring together a mother and child who have not seen each other in more than two years (Debra Alexander), we reached out to the powers that be to note the incompetence of Judge Kent’s orders. Instead, we were repeatedly reminded that we should not practice law without a license.
We don’t! But any time anyone wishes to challenge us on law, we are ready to fight any action they may consider. To the point, we challenge their unconstitutional law, no matter what the cost or time. Our backers stand ready to help.
Our goals have always included the abolishment of the Judiciary Law. For example, Section 750a gives the Supreme Court the power to punish any person who unlawfully practices or assumes to practice law. (They violate the First Amendment, giving lawyers an unconstitutional monopoly along with other violations.) (See The Huntingtonian.com 11/17/2013 Message ALR).

In 2013, U.S. government agencies issued 80,000 pages of new laws; in addition, President Obama issued 300 pages of executive orders that we are to follow. America is choking on laws made by the bureaucrats that run this country. Once a law is in place, it is almost impossible to dislodge. Many laws should automatically expire. The result is a nation ruled by lawyers.

1. Dyandria Darel was sentenced to 5 years in prison when she criticized a Judge with leaflets and TV talk show appearances. (“Her Right To Be Obnoxious”, The Village Voice, April 2006). She sued when the Manhattan Family Court Judge Sturn gave custody of her daughter to her ex-husband who allegedly slept naked with their young daughter. She sued the state and won, but has not seen her daughter in 20 years. (Email )
2. Dan Brewington, a disgruntled child custody litigant in Indiana, posted on the Internet various harsh criticisms on Judge Humphrey who awarded custody to his wife. He was prosecuted for “intimidation” and sentenced to five years prison. (State v Brewington).
All of the Scandinavian countries have eliminated “family” court systems entirely. The Chief State Justice in Canada called their “family” court “beyond the point of repair.” Israel is about to pass shared parenting as a national standard. The Chief Justices of New York and Delaware have called for “open family courts”, where recording would be allowed to help eliminate the corruption. ()

Here in Suffolk, litigant Gabriel Falco (cv14-0029 U. S. District Court Eastern Dist.) is suing Family Court judges for ordering that he pay law guardian fees. (.)

The Godfather of law guardians, lawyer Chas Cancellare (Suffolk), has retired and is now in charge of spreading salt on the icy roads. He is better at supervising spreading salt than he ever was as a law guardian. How many children’s lives has he destroyed?

A Florida model sued Match.com for $1.5 billion accusing the dating service of posting fake profiles. (NY Post 11/23/13).

The IRS wants to penalize non-profit (501(c)(4) groups for exercising their First Amendment rights to political free speech. The administration claims the proposed changes are cleaning up Washington, but it’s really a continuation of targeting by the IRS of non-profit Conservative groups. (I.B.D. 12/4/2013)

Lawyer David Grossman, (ex-husband of Maria Composto-Longhi), filed Motion #26 (See ALR Newsletter Sept. 2013) that he can’t pay the state ordered cost of living increase because he must pay wife No. Two, $2,000/month, pay $2,600/month for his new home, support his 24-year-old paramour, new dog, boat and new law office while earning hundreds of thousands/year. NYS Mandatory Duty under Legislation Law §21-a to Hear Testimony in Opposition to the Legislature’s Proposed Budget & Governor Cuomo’s Budget Bill #S.6351/A.8851 at Public Budget Hearings. After submission and prior to enactment of the executive budget, the Senate Finance Committee and the Assembly Ways and Means committee jointly or separately shall conduct public hearings on the budget. Such hearings may be conducted regionally to provide individuals and organizations throughout the state with an opportunity to comment on the budget. The committees shall make every effort to hear all those who wish to present statements at such public hearings. The Chairs of the Committees jointly or separately shall publish a schedule of hearings.” (Underlining added.)
Legislative Law §32-a. In requesting to testify in opposition to the Legislature’s proposed budget, I have been ignored. Despite numerous follow-up phone calls, I have received no response as to when I will be able to testify. (Center For Judicial Accountability, Inc. (914) 445-4373).
Nassau Lawyer, James Kalpakis was ordered to pay $4.3 million in restitution and sentenced to 10 years prison for securities and real estate schemes.
