In 1933, she struck out on her own to seek her fortune in America.She quickly rose to fame through the column, ‘Hollywood Today,’ which she wrote daily for over 35 years, interrupted only by serving as a war correspondent during World War II.
History is sadly neglectful of the supporting players in the lives of great artists, and Graham was all too aware of her fate as a footnote in Fitzgerald’s life.
