Then, visit “DoiSuthep Temple” (located 1,025 meters above sea level) the outstanding temple on the mountain top, was built in the 13th century, which the beautiful scenery of the city of Chiang Mai can be seen from its terrace. Day 2CHIANG MAI – CHIANG RAI(B, L, -)

After breakfast at the hotel, depart to “Mae Sa Elephant Camp” to see the show how Thai’s trained elephant to use in the logging trade in the past and how clever of the elephant expressed by parade, playing football, painting, etc.After that, visit the “Orchid Farm” to see the variety of orchids in Thailand (lunch at the restaurant) and after lunch, continue the trip to “Doi Mae Salong”or Santikhiri Mountain where housed one of the Kuomintang (KMT) Armies by the end of the Chinese Civil Warfor those who don’t have a chance to return home after China turned to a communists. Now a day, Doi Mae Salong is become one of the popular tourist destinations together with the famous quality tea & coffee and number of cool climate fruits (you will have a chance to taste a qualityChinese Tea. Another tourist spot is to visit General Tuan Grave, the leader of to understand long history of Doi Mae Salong and their people (over night in Doi Mae Salong).

Day 3 CHIANG RAI (B, L, -)

After breakfast, after explore visit a tea plantation and the village in the area, continue the trip to “Doi Tung” where the Princess Mother’s Royal Villa (Swiss chalet style) and Mae Fah Luang Garden located on. After lunch at the restaurant, visit the Mae Fah Luang Garden where you can enjoy the beauty of the flora and the fauna throughout the area together with the simply beauty of the King’s Mother Villa.The rest of the afternoon, you will be free to relax at the Doi Tung Lodge and its area with the deep breath of the cool breeze fresh air (overnight at Doi Tung Lodge).

Day 4 CHIANG RAI(B, L, -)

After breakfast, depart to the “Golden Triangle” where the land of Thailand, Myanmar & Laos meets and you will have a chance to experience on the “long tailed boat” along the great Khong River to enjoy the scenery & life on both sides of the river. After lunch, discover the truth behind the well-known name of Golden Triangle and behind the beauty of the poppy at “Hall of Opium” one of the museum with the great exhibition run by Mae Fah Luang Foundation where you can discover the history of the drug trade especially the “OPIUM TRADE”. Before heading back to the city of Chiang Rai, visit “Chiang Saen Ancient City”,where the home town of King MengRai who built Chiang Rai and Chiang Mai (overnight in Chiang Rai City).

Day 5CHIANG RAI – CHIANGMAI (B, L, -)

After breakfast, visit“WatPhakeaw” and “Wat Rung Kun” (also known as White Temple) and drive back to Chiang Mai. After lunch at the local restaurant in Mae Suay area, drive back to “Chiang Mai” on the way back make a short visit at “Mae Khajan Hot Springs”. Then, drive to visit the “Handicraft Village” along Sankampang Road for observe some craftwork procedures such as Wood Carving, Umbrella Painting, Thai-Silk, Celadon, Lacquer Ware, Silver Ware, etc. (overnight in Chiang Mai).

Day 6DEPARTURE (CHIANG MAI) (B, -, -)

Day 1CHIANG MAI (ARRIVAL DAY) (-, -, -)

Warmly welcome at “Chiang Mai International Airport”. Then, transfer to your selected hotel. The rest of the afternoon you will be free at leisure.

Day 2CHIANG MAI - FANG(B, L, D)

After breakfast at the hotel, proceed (around 09.00am and the journey will takes around 3.5 hours) to “Doi Angkhang” where the King’s 1st Royal Agricultural Project (or in short called Royal Project) take placewith the rich in history and culture and where the cool climate flower, vegetable and fruit plantation are grown. Upon arrival, check in at the Angkhang Nature Resort and lunch will be served at the resort’s restaurant. After lunch, your will be free to take a short break in the room or take a deep breath while walking around the resort. In the afternoon, the walking trip throughout the King Royal Project will start. The walking trip will take you to visit Flower Plantation, The Bonsai Garden, The Vegetable Plantation, Fruits Plantation, etc. After the afternoon walk, the dinner will be served at the Royal Project’s Cafeteria with their fresh products from the garden and the rest of the evening will be free at leisure.

Day 3CHIANG MAI – CHIANG RAI (B, L, D)

Breakfast with the chilly atmosphere and the nature surrounded and then, you will be free to enjoy the morning at your leisure. Around 10.00am, visit the minority who lives in the Angkhang Area and the King help them by give them the opportunity to grow other crop instead of the opium and mobile plantation (you will also visit the Nor Lae and Kob Dong Village together with the tea plantation). After lunch, drive to Tha Ton Village and continue to the trip to visit the theMixed Hill Tribe Village along the way (by van). From the village, experience on the scenic “long tailed boat trip” to Chiang Rai(appx 1.5 – 2.0 hrs.) which you can observe ways of life of the people on both sides of the Kok River. Upon arrival at in Chiang Rai, transfer to the hotel for check in and refreshment before exploring Chiang Rai Night Bazaar with dinner at the local restaurant.

Day 4CHIANG RAI - CHIANG MAI (B, L, D)

Breakfast at the hotel and visit “WatPhakeaw”, “WatSadueMuang” and “King MengRai Monument”before heading to “Mae Sai” the northern most town of Thailand, where is the border between Thailand and Myanmar (Burma).Lunch will be served at the local restaurant in Mae Sai Area and then, proceed to the place that Thailand, Myanmar & Laos meet at the “Golden Triangle”, which was the world famous place for the opium trade in the past and visit one of the opium museum (“Opium House”). After that, visit “Chiang Saen Ancient City”,which situated on the bank of Khong Riverwhere were the home town of King MengRaiwho built Chiang Rai and Chiang Mai. In the afternoon, transfer back toChiang Mai, enjoy the scenery along the way and

make a stop at “Wat Rung Kun” (also known as White Temple). Day 1ARRIVAL (CHIANG MAI - PAI) (-, L, -)

Warmly welcome at “Chiang Mai International Airport” (arrival flight to Chiang Mai; no later than 08.30am) and then, depart to Pai District and on the way, visit the “Orchid Farm” to see the variety of orchidsand get some ideas how they are grow in Thailand and then, visit “Mae Sa Elephant Camp” to see the show how Thai’s trained elephant to use in the logging trade in the past and how clever of the elephant expressed by parade, playing football, painting, etc. Lunch will be served at the local restaurant surrounded with the nature with the sound of waterfall. In the afternoon, drive up hill to visit “Pong Deud Hot Spring” takes a bit walk to explore the nature or enjoy the hot spa and before continue the trip to one of the famous view point at “Huay Nam Dong National Park”. After that, continue the trip to “Pai” the quiet and unique city which also one of the good place to stay overnight. After check in at the hotel, relax at your leisure.

Day 2PAI – MAE HONG SON (B, L, D)

After breakfast, continue the trip to Mae Hong Son Province and make a stop at “Lod Caves” to follow the tails of the pre-historic human who lived in the caves, the secrets of the caves will be shown by the slowly “Bamboo Raft” through the darkness with their remaining articles. Easy lunch will be served at the local restaurant (in the same area) and then, continue to “Mae Hong Son”, the city of three mists and visit “PhuKlon Country Club” (hot spa & mineral clay mask or treatment). In the evening, check in at the hotel and dinner will be at local restaurant.

Day 3MAE HONG SON(B, L, -)

After breakfast at the hotel, take a “Long Tailed Boat” along Pai Riverto visit “Long Neck Hill Tribe Village”,the tribe that the women have to put the bronze ring on their necks. After that, take a boat trip back to town and lunch will be served at the restaurant. In the afternoon, explore the city of Mae Hong Son together with some major temples (including WatJongkhum, WatJongklang and WatDoi Kong Mu).

Day 4MAE HONG SON – CHIANG MAI(B, L, -)

In the early morning, you will have a chance to visit the local fresh market which the local people’s daily life can be observe there together with the easy breakfast or snacks can be try (please do confirm the early trip with the guide on the previous day). After breakfast at the hotel, driveback to “Chiang Mai”(appx 6 hrs) through the scenery route (lunch in Pai District). Breakfast at the hotel and visit the major and famous temple in Chiang Mai which including of “Chiang Man Temple” (the oldest temple in Chiang Mai), “Phra Sing Temple” (the most beautiful architecture in northern Thai style), “Jedi Luang Temple” (the temple with biggest pagoda in Chiang Mai) and then, transfer to Chiang Mai International Airport for departure flight to “Mae Hong Son” (K8-723 / 11:50-12:25; flight details might change depending on the airline timetable).Upon arrival in Mae Hong Son, transfer to the local restaurant for lunch and after that, visit Rak Thai Village near the Thai-Myanmar border founded by Kuomintang Chinese soldiers, the village is famous for its breathtaking views and tea cultivation which you can see how the tea is grown and harvested and taste some delicious U-long tea.
