FAB Magazine to hit Lagos.

21 March 2010, Lagos

Hitting the streets of Nigeria later this month is FAB Magazine’s very first issue – the initial dose of something special and specifically African.

The music issue – ‘where music meets fashion’ – will feature an eclectic mix of high-end designers, and the high-flying musicians of the moment. Readers can expect profiles and fashion spreads from the finest female names, such as Mo Chedda, Sasha, Shiikane, May7ven, Nneka and Shingai Shoniwa, to name a few. And of the majestic male celebs, you can include Banky W, M.I, Naeto C, Whiz Kid, Duncan Daniels and Lemar, with many more making the purchase worthy.

Like how it’s sounding? Wait until you see how it looks.

True to its promise, the magazine is 80% African in content and 100% unique in style. Nigerian graphic designer Mr Skee has worked in conjunction with the creative director of the magazine, Suby Onabanjo to create what has become more than just a publication, but a work of art. One might feel to buy the magazine and then frame it after reading, as the talented Mr Skee has mastered all that is aesthetic through innovative magic.

The double-covered magazine is stacked full style and will be stocked at vendors across Nigeria by the end of March, with its unveiling happening today at an exclusive launch event at a top venue in Lagos. Attending the launch will be A-listers, such as Deola Sagoe, Lanre Da Silva, Obi Asika, Adebayo Jones, Guy Bruce, Tara Fela-Durotoye, Banky W, Kefee, Sasha and others, proving that the buzz about this mag is huge.

FAB Magazine can be purchased for a mere 500 Naira, which is a steal considering it reaches 164 pages of relevant, relatable reading. Alternatively, the anxious fashion conscious can purchase a cheaper version online.
