NEMBC 2015 Radioactive Youth Media Conference
Travel Subsidy Application Form
The NEMBC will be offering financial assistance for broadcasterstravelling to Melbourne from interstate or rural/regional Victoria for the purposes of the conference.
This subsidy gives applicants fifty per cent of the total cost (GST inclusive) of a budget return ticket to Melbourne.
This subsidy offer is limited. To be considered, applicants must:
- Complete and submit this form before Wednesday,21 October2015
- Live outside of Melbourne i.e. from a regional/ rural area or interstate
- Broadcast a program on community radio or has done in the last year
- Notify your station manager before applying
- Agree to the Terms and Conditions outlined at the end of this document

Travel SubsidyApplication - Terms and Conditions
- Travel is for the purposes of the 2015 Radioactive Youth Media Conference only.
- This subsidy is only provided for a budget return ticket to Melbourne.
- If you do not attend the2015 NEMBC Radioactive Youth Media Conference your subsidy agreement may be revoked.
- Applicants must purchase and pay for a budget return ticket and will be reimbursed fifty per cent of the cost of the ticket purchased.
- An invoice as proof of purchase and cost paid by the applicant must be provided to the NEMBCin order to receive subsidy payment. Failure to do so will render the subsidy agreement invalid.
- Reimbursement of travel costs will be given approximately two weeks after the event.
- If travelling by car, reimbursement will be provided in the form of payment for kilometres travelled, as deemed appropriate by the NEMBC.
- You must notify your station manager if you are applying for a travel subsidy.
- If you are under 18, authorisation for your attendance must given by a parent or guardian.
- Applicants will need to arrange and pay for their own accommodation.
- The National Ethnic and Multicultural Broadcasters’ Council takes no responsibility for the cancellation of booked transit services.
