NEAAHP Privacy Policy

This refers to information that lets us know who you are or things specifically about you. When you become a member of NEAAHP, we will collect Personally Identifiable Information (such as name, address, email address and telephone number). This Personally Identifiable Information is securely stored and may be accessible under Member Resources on the NEAAHP web page.

We may use your Personally Identifiable Information to provide you with information on the organization or health professions updates.

2.  Sharing Your Information

We do not sell, trade, or rent any Personally Identifiable Information to any commercial entity. Personally Identifiable Information may be transmitted to representatives of Graduate Health Professions programs for the distribution of information on their program to assist advisors in their work with students.

3.  Accessing and Correcting Your Information

We take reasonable measures to ensure that any Personally Identifiable Information we collect is accurate, current and reliable for its intended use. If you wish to update or correct Personally Identifiable Information provided to us, you should notify the Secretary and the Treasurer using the contact information on the NEAAHP web site.

We acknowledge your trust and are committed to taking reasonable steps to protect Personally Identifiable Information you provide from loss, misuse or unauthorized access. It is your responsibility to safeguard the Member Resources username and password. We ask that you promptly notify the Secretary if you suspect that the username and password have been compromised.

The NEAAHP web site does not use ‘cookies.’ Cookies are small text files a website can use to recognize repeat users and facilitate the user’s access and use of the site or to collect information on users.

5.  Links to Other Sites

Users will find links to other web pages within the NEAAHP web pages. These third party sites may have their own privacy policy or no policy at all. The NEAAHP privacy policy does not apply to such sites and has no control over nor is responsible for the content displayed on those sites.

6.  Online Registration for NEAAHP Meetings

Personal information of those who register for NEAAHP conferences through Cvent Inc. is ensured.
