6.20pm / Coming In Activity: Balloon Rocket
Set up the cones and poles and tie the string through, and add a straw. Make sure that one end is not tied off too well in case you need to change over the straw.
Blow up a balloon (do not tie off use a peg to hold the end), and tape to the straw. Let go and the balloon will travel down the string. With 2 sets you can have balloon rocket races. / Cones, poles with eye screws, string, balloons, straws, masking tape

6.40 pm / Game: Balloon Obstacle Course Relay
Set up the hoops and bases in a line down the hall and place a chair at the end. Divide the Joeys into 2 teams. One at a time a person from each team must keep their balloon in the air and take it through the course. The balloon must go through the hoops, then around the chair and back through the hoops again. If it touches the ground Joeys need to start again. / Hoops and bases, chairs, balloons
Divide up into 2 Groups and rotate through 2 activities (10 minutes per base)

Base 1 / Craft: Ninja Balloon Stress Balls
Fill the sandwich bag with 3/4 cup of flour. Twist the bag to close, and squeeze out as much air as possible.
Cut the blowing end off a white balloon so that you are left with a round balloon with a hole. Stuff the bag if flour into the balloon.
Cut off the blowing end of another balloon. Cut an opening for the ninja face. Then, stretch this balloon over the white balloon with the opening facing the opposite way (so that the flour can't come out). Add a ninja face. / Balloons, sandwich bags, flour, scissors, permanent pen

7.10 pm / Game: Balloon/Body Relay Race
Divide the Joeys up into teams. For each race have a pair of Joeys from each team that will use their bodies to carry the balloon to the end of the hall and back. The winning pair earns a point for their team. Repeat with a different pair of Joeys from each team. Have the balloon between backs, stomachs etc.
7.20 pm / Game: Balloon Candy Hunt
Insert small pieces of candy into balloons before inflating them. Spread the balloons around the hall etc. Give the Joeys a few minutes to find and pop the balloons. / Balloons, candy (have spare available in case someone was not able to pop a balloon)
7.25 pm / Closing Parade

Game: Octopus Relay
Joey Scouts in 2 teams each with a balloon. Balloon is passed under and over the waves (under legs, over head) to end of line. Last Joey runs to end of hall and sticks 1 crepe leg to the balloon runs to the front of the line to start under and over again. Relay ends when all 8 legs are on. / Balloons, streamers, sticky tape, chairs
Game: Name Race Balloon Tennis
Joeys stand in a circle and hit the balloon into the centre of the ring while calling out a Joeys name. The Joey called plus the person standing on the right of the server must try to catch or hit the balloon. The winner serves the next ball. / Balloons
