Indicator 2 – Relative likelihood of BME staff being appointed from shortlisting compared to that of white staff being recruited from shortlisting across all posts.

  • As we currently don’t do shortlisting through NHS jobs this will be difficult to report on
  • This is a recruitment priority to use ESR/NHS jobs to advertise and appoint through.

Indicator 3 – Relative likelihood of BME staff entering the formal disciplinary process, compared to that of White staff entering the formal disciplinary process, as measured by entry into a formal disciplinary investigation

The number of disciplinaries has been taken from the board reports and the casework isn’t broken down by White and BME employees. In the future if we record all casework on ESR then this will be possible.

  • 21% of NAViGO employees have felt bullied by patients, relatives or the public in the last 12 months.
  • This figure was taken from the last staff survey and cannot be broken down in to the number of White and the number of BME. This is something we will ask our staff survey providers to help us with in the future.

Indicator 6 – KF 19. Percentage of staff experiencing harassment , bullying or abuse from staff in the last 12 months.

  • 17% of NAViGO employees have experienced harassment, bullying or abuse from staff in the past 12 months .

Indicator 7 – KF 27.Percentage believing that NAViGO provides equal opportunities for career progression or promotion.
