Contaminated dry-weather flows from the Buck Gully watershed adversely impact Little Corona Beach and the
Newport Beach Area of Special Biological Significance (ASBS). In addition ,non-native habitat, an
inadequate fire modification zone, and streambed stabilization our problems in the gully.

Canyon restoration, native habitat restoration, implementation of a fire modification zone, and
implementation of an educational program .
