Committee Description:

Kin Canada has a history of educating members to lead our Association andto use their newly acquired skills to grow personally and professionally. The goalof the Kin Education Committee is to educate our members so they continue todevelop in areas such as leadership, public speaking and event management.

The committee is currently developing a plan to review, revise and produceeducation materials for use at the club, zone and district levels. We also review the District Leadership Seminar and Vice Governor Training materials on an annual basis.

d)the possibility of writing interim reports to the ED, articles for KIN Magazine, etc.

PLEASE NOTE: The application process for this committee is as follows:

1)Applications must be received at National Headquarters

2)Application form must include a professional resume with two (2) references.

3)The application form should be typed. If completed by hand, please print clearly.

4)Candidates will be short listed.

5)The Selection Committee may interview the candidates who have been short listed. The interview process may include phone or e-mail components.

6)The Selection Committee’s recommendation will be reviewed by the Executive Director in order to arrive at a final decision.

7)Once the committee membership has been finalized, all candidates will be contacted thanking them for their interest.

8)The Chair will contact the successful candidates upon selection.

Confidentiality is to be maintained until selection and formal notification are complete.
