I am pleased to inform you that the 70th R.M.T. Annual Supervisory, Clerical and Other Salaried Grades Conference will take place on the 14th and 15th March 2015 hosted by our Deptford Branch, at the below venue:-

I would appreciate it if you could circulate details to all your Supervisory and Clerical & Other Salaried Grades members within your Branches and try to encourage them to attend this conference and submit resolutions.
This conference is important in our unions fight against the impact of McNulty proposals, which will see Supervisory and Clerical & Other Salaried Grades jobs slashed from the railways leading tomore ghost stations and the closure of ticket offices. Therefore please make every effort to get a good turnout from your branch to ensure another successful conference
Forms for nomination of your Delegates, your Branch Resolutions, and nominations for officers and Executive committee are enclosed; these should be completed and returned to me by the 16thJanuary 2015. I must remind you that Resolutions for the Conference must be germane to the grades otherwise they will be rejected.
Additionally the conference would welcome donations from branches to assist in the running of this conference. Cheques should be payable to RMT Supervisory & Clerical Conference.

Regarding accommodation please make your own arrangements. The hosting branch, Deptford has kindly provided information from the Greenwich Tourist Board on the following link
Alternatively there are plenty of reasonable priced websites to check for accommodation, but it is advisable to start checking ASAP because of the fact that Greenwich is a high volume tourist area.Therefore I would urge delegates to you book early to secure your accommodation to get the best rate.
SOCIAL EVENTS
The Social Events will be confirmed shortly in a separate cover, with a reception meeting for the Friday Evening. We are also hoping to arrange something for Saturday morning (TBC) depending on sufficient numbers. Details will be sent out along with the agenda.
