The Government of Pakistan has received a loan/credit from the International Development Association (IDA) in various currencies towards the cost of Second Project to Improve Financial Reporting and Auditing (PIFRA-II). It is intended that part of the proceeds of this loan will be applied to eligible payments under the contract for Purchase of Line Printers.
2.The Project Director-PIFRA invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for the supply, assembly,installation and configuration of following equipment.Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information from PIFRA-Directorate, Islamabad during office hours:

3.A complete set of bidding documents may be purchased by interested bidders on submission of a written application to the undersigned and upon payment of a non-refundable fee of Rs: 1000/- in the shape of Pay Order/Bank Draft in the name of Project Director PIFRA. The provisions in the Instructions to Bidders and in the General Conditions of Contract are the provisions of the World Bank Standard Bidding Documents: Procurement of Goods for National Competitive Bidding.
4.Bids must be delivered to this office on or before 11:30 am on Sep 30, 2014 and must be accompanied by a bid security of 2 % of the total bid price in shape of unconditional Bank Guarantee in favour of Project Director PIFRA. Bids will be opened in the presence of bidders’ representatives who are present on Sep 30, 2014at 12:00Noon at Committee Room-PIFRA Directorate, Islamabad.This IFB has also been posted onto PPRA Website ( and PIFRA Website (
5. The Project Director-PIFRA reserves the right to accept or reject any bid, and to cancel the bidding process and reject all bids at any time prior to award of contract.
