Rotherham United Community Sports Trust are pleased to announcethey are recruiting participants from your son/daughters school for their forthcoming summer 2018 NCSprogramme.
NCS is a youth development programme that empowers young people, aged 15-17 years old, by engaging them in residential and social action activity. Such activities allow young people to challenge themselves and take responsibility for their own actions and development.
NCS consist of three phases, two of which provide participants with the chance to experience life away from home. This gives young people the opportunity to learn valuable life skills that will help nurture their transition into adult life. They will also have a real life opportunity to make a difference in their local community by planning and delivering their very own social action project! This will help equip participants with skills and experiences necessary to boost their CV’s, confidence and UCAS applications!
NCS is a fun, action packed programme that gives young people a chance to meet new people and make new friends whilst doing something truly inspiring with their summer holidays.

The government are committed to ensuring that NCS is accessible to every young person before they reach the age of 18! As is the case, they subsidies the majority of the cost of the programme, meaning the cost to you isONLY£50! That’s £50 for a four week programme in the summer holidays!
