Questions

1.  Please describe why you would like to participate in an internship program in Israel and how you will use this experience to enhance your long-term goals and your academic career.

2.  Describe your ideal internship placement, including location, job description, and mission. How will this placement impact your long-term career goals?

3.  What kind of office environment would you prefer to work in? Examples of this could include: international vs. Israeli, business vs. nonprofit, start-up vs. well-established organization, etc.

4.  Describe your plans to incorporate the culture of Israel into your summer experience. How will traveling abroad enhance your work, life, and/or field of study?

5.  Your internship must comply with your school’s guidelines for academic credit; we expect for you to remain in your position for approximately nine weeks, from early June to early August. If there are any restrictions on this block, please indicate so here.

6.  The program fee for the summer program will be $3200; this will cover orientation in Jerusalem, housing, travel expenses to and from Israel, health insurance, cell phone, three educational tours, and group activities. Do you need further funding in order to participate in this program? If yes, please list how much funding you will require. The Glazer Institute is willing to provide a limited number of need-based scholarships. Please note that the costs are already heavily subsidized by a grant.
