Administrative/Biographical history: Noel Greig was born in 1944 and brought up in Skegness. After graduating from King’s College London he went on to set up the Brighton Combination with Jenny Harris and Ruth Marks, one of the first Arts Labs in Britain and with them performed, directed, organised cinema showings, discos, a cafe and began to write, first collectively and then individually. He went on to work with Ed Berman’s Fun art Bus, a project of the community arts groups Inter-Action.

Archival history: The archive consists of Noel Greig’s collection of scripts, discs and DVDs of his work, together with flyers, posters, reviews and other materail accumulated over the years relating to his work

Immediate source of acquisition: The collection was given to the College by Noel Greig’s estate after his death, following his wishes. The archive was brought to the College by Susan Croft following discussions with Noel that grew out of Unfinished Histories’ oral history interview with him
