NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Nottinghamshire County Council proposes to make an Order under Section 16A of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, the effects of which will be in respect of byways open to all traffic and bridleways at Halloughton, Southwell, Epperstone, Gonalston, Bulcote and Fiskertonin the Parish of Fiskerton cum Morton,in the District of Newark and Sherwood and a bridleway at Burton Joyce in the Borough of Gedling:

(1)No person shall:-

(a)proceed on foot,

(b)cause any pedal cycle to proceed,

(c)cause any horse to proceed,

(d)cause any animal to proceed or

(e) cause any vehicle to proceed,

in the following lengths of byway open to all traffic:-

(i)Halloughton Byway No. 9, between grid references SK 6781 5142 and SK 6742 5194 (a distance of 650 metres).

(ii)Southwell Byway No. 80, between grid references SK 6742 5194 and SK 6611 5232 (a distance of 1,375 metres).

(2)No person shall:-

(a)proceed on foot,

(b)cause any pedal cycle to proceed,

(c)cause any horse to proceed or

(d)cause any animal to proceed

in the following lengths of bridleway:-

(i)Epperstone Bridleway No. 7, between grid references SK 6672 4759 and SK 6708 4874 (a distance of 1,250 metres).

(ii)Gonalston Bridleway No. 2, between grid references SK 6708 4874 and SK 6735 4934 (a distance of 700 metres).

(iii)Bulcote Bridleway No. 3, between grid references SK 6570 4478 and SK 6496 4468 (a distance of 790 metres).

(iv)Halloughton Bridleway No. 7, between grid references SK 6927 5168 and SK 6964 5147 (a distance of 425 metres).

(v)Halloughton Bridleway No. 4, between grid references SK 6974 5165 and SK 7086 5152 (a distance of 1,290 metres).

(vi)Fiskerton Bridleway No. 6, between grid references SK 7086 5152 and SK 7165 5080 (a distance of 1,135 metres).

(vii)Burton Joyce Bridleway No. 1, between grid references SK 6496 4468 and SK 6456 4459 (a distance of 400 metres).

(viii)Southwell Bridleway No. 74, between grid references SK 6894 5246 and SK 6741 5195 (a distance of 1,760 metres).

(3)The Order will not have the effect of preventing at any time access for pedestrians to premises situated on or adjacent to any road to which the Order relates, or to any premises only accessible to pedestrians from such a road.

(4)The Order will not have the effect of preventing at any time access for participants of the event.

(5)It is intended that the order will come into force on Sunday, 3rd June 2018 between 07.00 hours and 19.00 hours inclusive.

The prohibitionsare required for facilitating the holding of a relevant event and reducing the disruption to traffic likely to be caused by a relevant event.
