The “Mediateca of the Lands”, an audiovisual archive containing more than 1600 videos from different parts of the world on biodiversity, is the most important information instrument of the Centro Internazionale Crocevia. It is a cultural Centre, opened to the public, where videos, documents and multimedia materials – concerning North/South and Development issues - will be available for consultation. Usually there are two people of CIC that work in Mediateca. Their main occupation is to present projects that have as principal objective the formation and information about biodiversity, food sovereignty and right of native people.

To the Mediateca are connected some educational development projects addressed to the local schools and local community, and the " Biodiversity Festival", a project aimed to raise consciousness and inform about the diverse cultures in the developing countries. This event, that will take place the second week of October, includes movie projections, debates, exhibitions and meetings related to the issue of the Biodiversity.
