You will also be asked to write an essay reflection on the wonderful performance we had in December. This MUST be a well-done essay! At random, some essays will be graded by Mr. Birsinger in order to assure you are writing well.
Jot down some thoughts here that you may want to include in your essay. We'll be writing about what went well, what didn't go so well, what we learned from the whole experience. I'll be looking for "music words"; words that show you have training as a musician. You are no longer a person who will say about a music performance "it was good" or " we did a good job". You'll be able to use specific music words like "we stayed on tempo well" or "most of us sang with good blending. Catch my meaning? Be specific in this essay; it'll be worth 20 points.
