Bio -
Tory Windley is the Director of Purchasing at the University of Delaware.
With an annual spend of approximately $120 Million annually, Delaware's
purchasing office is responsible for procurement activities, the
procurement card program, scrap and surplus, travel, and asset tracking.
The University's web based purchasing site, UDMart won a NACUBO award in
2001.
Tory is currently one of the faculty members for NAEB's Advanced Purchasing
Institute and has also served in that capacity for the Basic Purchasing
Institute. She has presented at numerous regional and annual NAEB
meetings, including the July 2001 E-Commerce Institute in Boston, in
addition to presenting at meetings for other organizations including Chema
(Association Management Professionals) and Acuta (Telecommunications
Professionals).
Tory has served as Treasurer, Vice President and President of the Delaware,
Pennsylvania, West Virginia region and on several National Boards.
