Volleyball Manitoba is currently acceptingHosting Applications for the

2013Volleyball ManitobaProvincial Championships!

What does being “Host” mean?

Providing the gymnasium (there will be a required minimum # of courts depending on the event please refer to next page) and setting up/taking down the nets

Designate a Site Convener (a person who is not coaching or playing in the event who will oversee the entire competition, update scores and determine playoffs)

Supplying minor officials (2 scorekeepers/court, 2 lines people/court for playoffs)

Supplying other volunteers for admissions, Boutique and to fill in where needed

A place where coaches and officials can grab a coffee and relax between games

A canteen with some healthy snacks for athletes and spectators is highly encouraged and is always a great addition – the extra bonus is that your club keeps all of the proceeds!
