Regular Monthly Public Meeting
July 15, 2013
The Muncy School District Board of Directors held their regular monthly public meeting at 7:30 p.m. in the Muncy Junior/Senior High School Library, 200 West Penn St., Muncy, PA 17756
Present were: President Thomas Gardner, Vice President Mary Bennardi ,Treasurer Carla Auten, Brian Krah, Scott McLean, and Lisa Sleboda. Robert Titman arrived at 7:35. Danielle Baum and William Schneck were absent and had previously reported their absence to the board president.
Members of the administration present were: Superintendent Portia Brandt, Business Administrator David J. Edkin, Elementary Principal Frank Jankowski, High School Principal Timothy Welliver, Director of Curriculum and Instruction Kimberly Hamilton, Special Education Coordinator Michele Williamson, Athletic Director Curt Chilson, and Solicitor Austin White.
President Gardner called the meeting to order at 7:30 p.m.
The Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag was recited.
There was one visitor present.
Ms. Sleboda moved to approve the minutes of the June 24, 2013 Regular Public Meeting of the Muncy School District Board of Directors. Mrs. Auten seconded the motion and it passed unanimously.
Ms. Sleboda moved to approve the following June 2013 Financial Reports:
1. Treasurer’s Report
2. General Fund
3. Student Activities Fund
4. Food Service Report
Dr. Bennardi seconded the motion and it passed unanimously. (Copied in Minute Book.)
Mr. Krah moved to approve the following agreement:
Vendor Services/Fees
PA Treatment & Healing 13-14 Alternative Education/$53.55 per diem
Mrs. Auten seconded the motion and it passed unanimously. (Copied in Minute Book.)
Dr. Bennardi moved to approve the following meal prices effective with the 2013-2014 school year:
Meals 12-13 13-14
Breakfast $1.25 $1.25
Milk $.55 $.55
Adult $2.85 $2.85
Lunch-Elem $2.10 $2.25
Lunch-H/S $2.25 $2.40

SCHOOL BOARD
Dr. Bennardi recommended the appointment of Carla Auten as voting delegate to the 2013 PSBA Legislative
Policy Council Meeting. Mr. McLean moved to approve the recommendation and Mr. Krah seconded the motion and it passed unanimously.
ADMINISTRATION
Mrs. Auten recommended approval of the certified and non-certified administrators compensation plans for 2013-2014. Dr. Bennardi moved to approve the recommendation and Ms. Sleboda seconded the motion and it passed unanimously.
Mrs. Auten moved to approve the following:

There being no further business, Dr. Bennardi moved to adjourn the meeting at 7:52 p.m.
