1. Call to order (11:08 PDT), establish quorum (attendee roll call – 12 members eligible to vote (including 3 Alternates where no VM present) - quorum NOT achieved), approve agenda and past meeting minutes. Reminder to submit short bios for internal distribution within the MTG. (Behls/Wray)
· Herman Behls to send out letter ballot for approval of Dec 2012 minutes, and a reminder to those that have not yet submitted bio to do so
2. Review of MTG purpose and scope, goals and objectives (Wray)
· Discussed changing title to “MTG.EAS: High-Performance Air-Handling Systems for Non-Residential Buildings”, and requested feedback by mid June
3. Strategic planning ad hoc subcommittee activities (Smith)
a. Review ideas submitted to date
· No feedback received
b. New ideas?
· Requested new ideas be submitted to Larry Smith
4. Use case templates (Lorenzetti)
· Strategic planning ad hoc subcommittee to work on modifying template to make it suitable for MTG applications
· Jeff Haberl requested that commercialism be avoided in templates
5. Next steps (Wray)
a. Request further input from member groups
BEFORE upcoming ASHRAE meeting in Denver (June 21-26)
b. Each group submits current research, handbook, standards, program, and training activity plans for use as starting point to begin writing strategic plan
6. Online ASHRAE forum (Vaughn)
· MTG.EAS is first ASHRAE group to be invited to try out new concept
· Bass Abushakra and Alex Kouvolo to work with Mike Vaughn and Jocelyn Ratcliff (Manager, ASHRAE Electronic Communications) to setup forum for MTG
7. Other business (Behls)
a. Membership
· Requested that members from external organizations send letter to Mike Vaughn confirming that they are authorized to represent their organization
b. Date for next call
· Tentatively early to mid-September 2013
