Report cards are being issued Friday, January 6th.
PTA meeting will be held on Wed., Jan. 11th at 7:00 pm in the Jr. High Computer Lab.
Thursday, January 12th, Interstate Studio (our school photographers) will be at the school taking candid pictures for the yearbook of all grade levels and group pictures of the Volleyball team, Boys Basketball team, STEM club, and Student Council (VB and BB players are reminded to
bring their uniform for the picture.)
Friday, January 13th, is a School Improvement Day. There will only be a half day of school on this day.
Dismissal times are: KG-2nd: 12:15 pm; 3rd-5th: 12:20; 6th-8th: 12:25 pm. Buses will run at 12:30 pm.
There will be NO SCHOOL on Monday, January 16th (M. L. King Holiday).
Friday, January 20th, there will be a dance for boys in K – 5 and the wonder woman in their lives (mom, grandma, aunt, etc.) entitled “Wonder Woman & Her Super Hero”. Flyers have been sent home. Please sign up by January 13th.
For parents who pay by the month, lunch amount due for January is $52.25.
Early dismissals and school closings due to weather con-ditions will be announced on:
Radio Stations: KMOX (1120 AM), WSMI (1540 AM and 106.1 FM), and TV Stations: KMOV News 4, KSDK News 5 and FOX 2 News.
Parents should also receive a call, text, or e-mail from the school’s automated service. If you have not been receiving our calls, please call the office and update your phone number or update it on Powerschool.
A BIG THANK YOU TO EVERYONE FOR SAVING BOX TOPS. Please keep saving General Mills box tops, proof of purchase logos from Little Italy’s Pizza,and Coke products bottle caps. Campbell’s soup labels are no longer being accepted.
Wed., February 1st, is our 100th day of school. Students
will celebrate in various ways in their classrooms. Those students that have 100 points in AR will receive a special treat.
Please make sure your student is prepared for recess by wearing a warm jacket, hat and gloves. If you need a coat, hat or gloves, please stop by the School Office, or call 999-4241 and let the secretary know.
