NOTE: According to VicRoads all buses entering an Alpine Area must carry approved (diamond pattern) wheel chains, a shovel and wheel chocks. Any bus with a seating capacity of 13 (including the driver and carrying paying passengers) must be registered to operate in a Hazardous Area and must have a special label indicating so. All bus drivers operating a bus with 13 seats (including the driver) must have a “Hazardous Areas driver’s licence”. Any vehicle that does not comply with these VicRoads regulations will be refused entry.
