Q: How do I search only the MRO BPA (Blanket Purchase Agreement) holders for a specific product?
A: You can do a search on GSA Advantage!by typing the product name into the search bar. When you find the product, scroll down and look for the bright yellow BPA icon, which will signify that it is an MRO BPA product.
Q: Is the MRO BPA mandatory?
A: It is not mandatory with GSA. Refer to your individual agency for mandatory requirements.
Q: How long is the MRO BPA?
A: There is a one-year base period from the establishment of the BPA, with four one-year option periods for a potential total of five years.
Pricing
Q: How do we know that the BPA pricing is the lowest?
A: The BPA is the lowest pricing available through GSA, but there may be additional fees per contractor. Such fees could apply for special shipping requirements or ordering under the $25 minimum threshold. You can ask for more discounts on larger quantity orders, going directly to the contractors. You can use Reverse Auctions tool as well to bid down the price.
Q: Is pricing the same regardless of where or how you order?
A: The individual unit price per product is the same through all ordering channels. There may be additional fees that vary by contractor for minimum order or special shipping.
Other than the $25 minimum ordering fee that may apply, the prices are all the same.
Products
Q: Are these products bio-based and recycled content compliant?
A: Yes, we do have some products that meet sustainability and Agriculture Act of 2014 requirements. Examples include environmental, bio-preferred, Energy Star, and Water Sense products.
Q: Who determines product damage conditions and to what degree?
A: If the product is received in damaged condition, the recipient must work directly with the contractor who provided the product.
Q: Can I purchase services through the MRO Purchase Channel solution?
A: No. The solution is product based only, no services available.
