Mr. Stewart has lived & trained in Japan for OVER 11 YEARS, as a personal student of Koryu Muramatsu Sensei, one of the top Shihan or master-instructors of Ninjutsu & Ko-Bujutsu training in the world.

Mr. Stewart has been featured internationally in various news-papers & magazines, & has appeared SIX TIMES on National Prime-time TV in Japan. In May 2007, he was featured on Japan’s Top TV Network, NHK, for preserving the traditional spirit of Japan! The show aired several times across the nation, INTERNATIONALLY in 170 countries as well!!

Mr. Stewart’s been doing Martial Arts for 32 years. He is the 1st non-Japanese person ever granted permission to open a Dojo within Japan by his instructor, & opened a 2nd Dojo in 2005. Both Dojo are listed annually in HIDEN Magazine’s National Dojo Listing of Japan!

In August 2000, he was the on-site advisor for the National Geographic film-crew in Japan, & made history in 2004 by becoming the 1st & ONLY non-Japanese ever licensed as a Yamabushi Sendatsu Priest at the famous Dewa-Sanzan Haguro Shrine complex. The Head Priest personally presented him with a handwritten certificate, & his name was sealed in a scroll stored at the Shrine. Then, in an historic gesture,

he was asked to perform a Kukishin Ryu 6’ Bo-Staff demonstration for all the Priests & Yamabushi at the Main Shugendo Training Hall!!
