Mr. Roy Fennimore
Williamstown High School

Williamstown, NJ 08094
Dear Roy:
On behalf of the Foundations of Teaching Health and Physical Education class at Rowan University I would like to extend a sincere thank you for providing a valuable observation experience for our preservice teacher education candidates. Monroe Township should be proud of the many educational opportunities this state-of-the-art building provides for their students. Of course, the university students were very impressed by the facility, but equally as important they benefited greatly from the information you were able to share about the dynamics of the teaching profession.
I would especially like to thank you personally for taking time out of your busy schedule to spend time with the Rowan students. The information shared during these informal interactions is most beneficial and meaningful to these “aspiring” young professionals.
I expect that you will continue to have a successful year and hope that you will be able to host our students again in the future. As I indicated during the October 6, 2005 visit, the spring 2006 semester will be the last time we will be using this large group format for our sophomore field experience. Please contact me at RowanUniversity if I can in any way assist you or members of your faculty.
Respectfully,
Mary L. Putman

Dear. Mark:
On behalf of the Foundations of Teaching Health and Physical Education class at Rowan University I would like to extend a sincere thank you for providing a valuable observation experience for our preservice teacher education candidates. Williamstown High School should be proud of the many educational opportunities this state-of-the-art building and excellent teachers provides for their students. It is certainly apparent that you are enjoying the many benefits and challenges derived from being the department chairperson. The college students were of course very impressed by the facility and the curricular programs in health and physical education.
I would like to thank you personally for taking the time out of your busy schedule to help coordinate this observation. The task of coordinating an informative and beneficial observation experience for 50+ preservice students is a challenge not all school are willing to assume.
I expect that you will continue to have a successful year and hope that you will be able to host our students again in the future. As I indicated during the October 6, 2005 visit, the spring 2006 semester will be the last time we will be using this large group format for our sophomore field experience.
