2015 - SENIOR AND JUNIOR TRACK LICENSING

PLEASE READ THIS DOCUMENT CAREFULLY. TRACK LICENCE APPLICATION FORMS HAVE CHANGED.

2015 FORMS ONLY WILL BE ACCEPTED. ANY OTHER FORM RECEIVED WILL BE SENT BACK

Every year on the 30th June all Motorcycling NSW Track Licenses expire. To licence your clubs track for the next year, 1st July to 30th June, applicants must apply for a new track licence.

The following forms can all be completed through word before either being printed and/or email through to Motorcycling NSW. Completed application forms must be received at the Motorcycling NSW Office no later than 1st of May so that Track Inspections can be conducted. Applications received after this date may not be processed in time for your track to be inspected and relicenced before 30th June 2015.

Any track which is unlicenced after 30th June 2015 will be unable to be utilized for any permitted motorcycle activity until the licence is renewed.

This is always a busy time of the year and the process may take between 4–6 weeks. Motorcycling NSW urges all clubs to ensure their applications for track licences are submitted before 1st May 2015 to avoid disappointment.

v  Complete the following track application form. We require one application per track, per discipline

v  Attach 1 x A4 map of each circuit and each discipline. These maps must have marked on them the following:

·  The discipline and the length of the track

·  Indicate the direction of racing

·  Start/finish line

·  Pit area

·  Marshall Points

·  Significant surface features

·  Ambulance or 1st aid area

·  Jumps/tabletops etc

·  Any other relevant information

v  Have 1 x Landholders Permission form completed and signed for each venue.

v  If the Club is leasing or owns the property, provide a Statutory Declaration signed by the Office Bearers and attach any other documentary evidence verifying the Land Title.

v  Complete and attach the Medical Response Event & Facility Management form

Below are the requirements to licence your venue with the Office of Sport (Sport & Recreation):

v  Graham from the Office of Sport will have sent you through an application to renew your clubs MVRG Track Licence. This will need to be completed and returned with the required paperwork to Sport & Recreation at:

v  You will need to get in contact with local area command (NSW Police), for them to inspect your venue. This inspection may be carried out in conjunction with the Motorcycling NSW inspector for convenience; however you will be required to advice the police of the process. It is the clubs responsibility to contact the police and ensure that the Office of Sport receive a copy of the report.

AFTER THE 30TH JUNE, YOUR VENUE CANNOT BE USED FOR RECREATIONAL OR COMPETITIVE USE UNTIL THE OFFICE OF SPORT MVRG TRACK LICENCE AND THE MOTORCYCLING AUSTRALIA TRACK LICENCE ARE APPROVED AND RECEIVED AT THE CLUB.

** MINI ENDURO CONDITIONS: 65cc Miniwheels (7-U13 Years) may compete on enduro/cross country tracks that do not exceed 5kms in length. Riders in this class must be released at no closer than 30 second intervals. A sweep rider must be released after every third rider and a marshal with radio must be located close to the halfway point of the track in a clearing where a rider can stop, retire or rest without obstructing following riders.

WILL THIS TRACK BE USED FOR ANY RIDING ACTIVITIES OUTSIDE A MOTORCYCLING NSW ISSUED PERMIT?

*By selecting “yes” the club acknowledges that the track will be used for motorcycle activities that are not permitted by Motorcycling NSW. The club will be issued with a Deed of Agreement Track Licence Usage with their annual track licence. This agreement will need to be signed and submitted with every permit application to conduct a meeting at your track. The track licence will only come into effect on the dates and times stipulated on the permit issued.
