THE VOLUNTARY MISSIONARY MOVEMENT: a volunteerwill speak at all Masses this weekend about opportunities in mission volunteer work overseas. Anyone over 21 with one year experience in trade /profession is very welcome & accommodation, monthly allowance & flights are included. We have a second collection to support their work. FIRST HOLY COMMUNION: Parents meeting in the hall on Thursday at 7.30pm.

CORPUS CHRISTI:is celebrated next weekend and we have the Town annual Procession at Our Lady’s, Castle street, 3.00pm. I ask everyone to come and witness to Our Lord, the faith and the church. Refreshments in the Parish centre afterwards. First communicants can wear their special dresses and this would be an ideal opportunity for the recently confirmed to witness to their faith with the rest of us.

/ RED MISSIO BOXES: Thanks to everyone who has a Red Box to support the missions overseas. Please bring them to church next weekend so they can be emptied & counted & the money forwarded to Missio. Please ensure your name is on the box so it can be returned to you. Missio is the Catholic Church’s official support organisation for overseas mission & exists through the generosity of Catholics to play a crucial role in combating injustice, disease, poverty & exploitation. THE PASTORAL AREA OF LUTON is dedicated to St Alban, the first Christian martyr, & our Feast Day Mass is on Tuesday 20th June, 7.30pm at Holy Ghost church. All welcome.

ACT OF WITNESS:in support of life & against abortion outside the L&D 1 -2.00pm on Saturday 24th June. There continues to be hundreds of unborn children from this area, and thousands who never come to life. Come to give them a voice and pray for all those involved.

LUTON FOODBANK: thank parishioners for their continuing support & generosity. They are in need of Cereal, tinned fruit, rice pudding, soup, tins/packets as demand has greatly increased.
