For the attention of the Secretary
Please find below details of all THREE Cups Draws for 2018 along with dates that matches should be played by.Please reply to this email as acknowledgement of receipt. There is also an attachment with a copy of the Rules
As per rules, I need a copy of your current registered players at least FOURTEEN days before your first game (Rule 4), please make sure that they qualify to play. I will accept these either by post or email and if you have additions during the competition, please send me an up-to-date copy with amendments (as per Rules).
Also, the HOME team are responsible for contacting their opponents, ASAP, to arrange a date and time. Both Clubs toconfirm with me (Rule 8), as well as Terry Atkins, DEFL Referees Appointment Secretary when match date and kick off time has been confirmed.
Result sheets (please use DEFL sheets and refer toRule 14), they should be sent to ME at the above address by BOTHClubs as per rules (I will accept a clear scanned copy via email). Hopefully, you will also be able to use the DEFL Full Time System as per League games (working with Collin Goodwin on that issue)!
When fixing dates for these Cupfixtures,check with opponents to see if they have any open Saturday dates! Otherwise if you don’t have use of floodlights, Sundays will be your only option.
I would also like to point out the amended Rule 22 this year and Sin Bins will not be used!
As you can see below the quarter finals are drawn. Up-to-date details should appear on the DEFL website to see who has progressed! Please try and arrange your matches as soon as you possibly can to avoid a possible fixture clash at the end of the season.
A reminder to those that reached the finals last year . . . trophies should be cleaned, engraved and returned to ME before the end of MARCH (Rule 16).
